    Seminar "Where do we go from here?": Persuasion metrics and storylines - which ones work and why? 11.03.2010


    So, are you a great story teller? Could you become one? Is your life part of a great story? In this lecture series, we have been exploring ideas and skills that are important for people to be successful in this transition period. Most recently, we have been focusing on negotiation as a process, and persuasion as an important communication skill within that process. In the last session, we discussed what metrics make stories more effective. We also watched several videos of presentations to assess the nature and quality of the stories being told. The videos were of Dan Buettner and Jamie Oliver from their TED presentations. We ended up taking a glimpse of  Dan Pink's video about the intriguing question "What is your sentence?".
