Meet the World: Czech Republic from inside and outide
Third meeting, held on 6 of May, kept us in the comfortable closeness of the old continent, as we visited the country of numerous prominent literates, world famous cartoons and vivid history. We were exploring the country with native and foreign eyes. Alena Kovářová is a Czech teacher currently working in Tartu, whereas Karel Kõiv decided for studying in golden Prague. We drew parallels between communistic past of both East European countries, checked studying possibilities, made an overview of Czech significant cultural influence and discussed common stereotypes and disinformation people usually have about Czech Republic. As always, discussion was spiced with video clips, promotional material and music.Slideshow: Czech from inside and outside.pptx
